1962 'Stros

The Astros are located in Houston, Texas. The team is a member of the Western Division of MLB's American League, having moved in 2013 after spending their first 51 seasons in the National League. They were established as the Houston Colt .45s in 1962. The current name was adopted three years later when they moved into the Astrodome, the world's first domed sports stadium. The team's nickname is 'Stros. With the Astros move to the American League, their new permanent interleague rival is the Colorado Rockies. National League's rivals were Texas Rangers. The Astros have won six NL Division titles, one National League pennant. They lost World Series in 2005 against the Chicago White Sox.
